Tenant Inspectors

Listen to this page using ReadSpeaker

A Tenant Inspector is a volunteer who will be involved in evaluating and inspecting empty properties on an annual basis.

You will be asked to attend a brief training session with the Head of Building Maintenance, Peter Brown to provide you with a greater understanding of the role as a Tenant Housing Inspector.

Once you have received your training you will be asked to visit vacant properties in your area before they are re-let and complete an evaluation form for each property. Inspections can be carried out at a time that is convenient for you and we will cover any reasonable travel, childcare and carer costs for your time.

Tenant Housing Inspectors play a vital role to the Association, as you will be evaluating empty properties against our Expected Standards, and your feedback will enable us to ensure we are meeting all of standards we set.
