Area Forums

We hold a number of forum meetings which give tenants the opportunity to come along and have a say on things which effect the wider tenant group, learn more about the subject and make recommendations for improvement.

Estate Management Forum

This forum evolved out of the Greater Norwich Area forum and is open for any tenants to attend. The forum will cover a wide range of issues including environmental issues such as graffiti and fly tipping and neighbourhood safety.

The forum recently reviewed the issue of car parking at schemes. The members of the forum drew up a parking agreement which was initially trialled at two schemes and then used as needed in other areas.

The forum meets quarterly in the Norwich area and would welcome new members to attend. If you would like to know any further details, please get in touch.

Maintenance, Repairs and Renewals forum

This forum was first formed in 2009 as the topic of repairs and maintenance to many tenants, was a subject that they wanted to discuss and was often raised in the other area forums.

The forum has the opportunity to look at specific aspects of Maintenance, Repairs and Renewals as well as performance. The forum looks at wider issues that affect many tenants, rather than local and individual concerns. In 2011, the forum selected our new kitchen manufacturer and have also been involved with designing the repairs satisfaction survey which allows us to gain valuable feedback after a repair is completed.

This forum is head quarterly and would welcome any new members to the forum.

Senior tenants Forum

The Senior Tenants Forum acts as a consultation body on matters related to sheltered housing within the association as well as local and national issues.

The forum is open to all BHA sheltered housing schemes and has a maximum of two representatives from each scheme who are elected by their scheme.

If you live in sheltered housing and are interested in becoming a member of the Senior tenants forum, please speak to your scheme manager or contact one of the resident participation team for further details.
