New Homes

As demand for good quality, affordable housing soars in many areas, Broadland continues to develop new homes for rent and Part Buy Part Rent, at affordable levels, across Norfolk and North Suffolk to meet the growing needs of current and future generations.

With a proven track record of delivery across the region spanning four decades, Broadland is ideally placed to deliver imaginative, effective development solutions.

We build and improve sustainable, well-designed homes for young and old, single people, couples and families and supported housing for people who need a measure of support to live independently.

All new properties the Association build have to achieve a higher environmental standard which is called The Code of Sustainable Homes. This is a step of change in sustainable home building practice, which focuses on water use, waste regeneration and the use of polluting materials.

The design of our homes contributes to a sense of place, improving the quality of life and well being of local people.

The team’s ethos is based on working in partnership with our key stakeholders, quality monitoring, resident involvement and high standards of design. We’re committed to maximising the benefits of working with Broadland for our project partners and to meeting the wider need of communities where we work.

As well as ensuring aesthetic appeal, we ‘design in’ opportunities to achieve cost in use saving for residents and partners – and build in flexibility, allowing the option of adaptation in the future should needs change.

We’re careful to minimise the impact of our work on the environment, through the selection of appropriate design, construction and management techniques.
We are constantly seeking new relationships with local authorities and public and private developers to help us further our goal of moving towards an inclusive society. If you want to work with us please contact the New Business Team on 0303 303 0003

Consultation – Get Involved and have your say!

To help create communities people want to live in – and choose to stay, Broadland welcomes the public’s views on proposed affordable homes and often holds public consultation event at which the Association’s plans are displayed. Feedback is invited by discussion and via questionnaire and wherever possible these requests are incorporated into the design. Representatives from the local authority and Broadland Housing Association will be on hand to answer any queries you may have relating to proposals and how to apply for new affordable homes
